Barossa Valley Food and Wine GPS

Carlisle Enterprises introduces your fully-guided GPS Food and Wine Tour of the Barossa Valley. The tour highlights unique experiences you can expect to enjoy in the Barossa, as well as providing turn-by-turn instructions for the entire route. It also answers the question so often asked by motoring tourists: "I wonder what's at the end of that dirt road?" It not only takes you safely to the end of that dirt road and back, but lets you make discoveries that may otherwise have remained hidden - all with the reassurance that our guide is foolproof.

The tour is available, as an app download on iPhone - it is a world first of its type for motoring tourists and delivers, in collaboration with MetroView, the very latest in self-drive touring. The GPS triggered tour of the Barossa can be commenced from either the South Eastern Freeway or Main North Road, Gepps Cross and returns via Gawler to North Adelaide.

You will hear personal welcome messages from two "heroes" of the Barossa - legendary winemaker, Wolf Blass and the doyenne of local cuisine, Maggie Beer. Other food and wine icons are also heard in interviews throughout the audio commentary. Cost to download AUD9.99.
